1. Introduction

Welcome to Epic Navigator. By booking or participating in our sailing activities, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

2. Booking and Payment

• Reservation Confirmation: A booking is confirmed upon receipt of a 50% deposit of the total fee. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the departure date.
• Payment Methods: We accept payments via credit card, PayPal, and bank transfer.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

• By Client:
  – Cancellations made 60 days before departure: Full refund minus a €100 administrative fee.
  – Cancellations between 30-59 days: 50% refund.
  – Cancellations less than 30 days before departure: No refund.
• By Epic Navigator: We reserve the right to cancel or modify trips due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions or insufficient participant numbers. In such cases, clients will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.

4. Participant Responsibilities

• Health and Fitness: Participants must ensure they are physically fit to undertake sailing activities. Any medical conditions should be disclosed at the time of booking.
• Compliance: Participants are expected to adhere to all safety instructions and guidelines provided by our crew. Failure to comply may result in termination of participation without refund.

5. Safety and Conduct

• Alcohol and Substance Use: Consumption of alcohol is prohibited while the vessel is underway. Any consumption onboard is to be in moderation and only when permitted by the skipper.
• Behavior: Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and considerate manner. Disruptive or dangerous behavior may result in removal from the activity without refund.

6. Liability

• Personal Belongings: Epic Navigator is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings.
• Insurance: Participants are advised to obtain personal travel insurance that covers sailing activities.

7. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Greece.  Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Greece.

8. Amendments

Epic Navigator reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on our website.

9. Media Release and Usage Rights

• By participating in Epic Navigator sailing activities, you agree that photos and videos taken during the trip may be used by Epic Navigator for promotional, marketing, and social media purposes.
• Participants waive any rights to approval, royalties, or compensation related to the use of such media.
• If a participant does not wish to appear in photos or videos, they must inform the crew in advance, and reasonable efforts will be made to respect their preference.
