Mediterranean MasterClass
Real Sailing. Real Leadership. Real Mediterranean Experience.
This is not just a sailing holiday. It’s a mission at sea, designed to transform you from a capable sailor into a confident, real-world skipper.
What is the Mediterranean Masterclass?
The Mediterranean Masterclass is a one-week (or two-week) intensive sailing program across the Greek islands. It is designed for sailors who want to log miles, sharpen their seamanship, and build true confidence at sea.
Each week covers 150–250 nautical miles, with daily hands-on training in real conditions. From passage planning and night sailing to crew leadership, this is an immersive experience that goes far beyond traditional courses.
What You’ll Learn
Advanced sailing maneuvers and sail trimming
Anchoring and docking techniques (stern-to, side docking)
Passage planning and navigation (day and night)
Safety drills, including Man Over Board
Crew management and real leadership practice
Every participant takes turns as “Skipper of the Day”, leading the crew, planning the passage, and making decisions under the instructor’s guidance.
The Yachts We Sail On
For our Masterclasses, we work with modern, fully equipped yachts that combine training value with comfort and safety. While we charter different boats depending on availability, these are the types of vessels we typically use:
Lagoon 46 Catamaran (2020) – Spacious, stable, and ideal for learning catamaran handling and teamwork.
Beneteau Oceanis 51.1 (2019) – A powerful 51-foot monohull equipped with bow thruster, autopilot, and advanced navigation tools.
These yachts are carefully chosen to provide the perfect classroom at sea.
A Typical Day
Morning: Set sail and practice maneuvers in varying conditions
Midday: Arrival at a new island, docking or anchoring under real challenges
Afternoon: Relax, explore, or join group activities (hiking, cooking challenges, SUP)
Evening: Crew briefing, debrief of the day’s lessons, planning for tomorrow
Night: Optional night sailing under the stars
This balance of training, adventure, and teamwork turns a group of strangers into a real crew.
Perfect for:
Sailors aiming to build miles toward certifications (RYA, ISSA, or national licenses)
Licensed skippers who want real confidence in diverse conditions
Adventurers seeking a learning experience that blends seamanship, travel, and leadership
